I was out last night and a friend of mine is an amazing local true Sarah Palin look alike. She hit the streets of Santa Monica last night as Sarah Paliand caused a scene with her husband Joe Campanella dressed as Obama! Renee Piane says …“We never saw anything like the response we got from both sides of the political fench”. Renee Piane is the President and founder of Rapiddating.com has been told constantly that she looks exactly like Sarah since Palin was added to the McCain ticket a few months ago. Piane claims “When Sarah Palin was in California people actually waved to me, asked me to take photos with them at malls, drugstores and stopped me to tell me their personal opinion on Sarah’s policies. I have been stared at every where I go and last night my husband and I decided to go out on a date dressed as Obama and Sarah for fun. This whole idea of dressing like Sarah came from my friends at Marina Fitness Club since all the members called me Sarah everyday.”
An artist friend Louis from the gym begged Renee to attend the Santa Monica civic Auditorium Contemporary Crafts Market on Friday and she showed up at 5:30 pm with her husband to honor her request. Louis was thrilled and they caused a huge scene there. From 5:30Pm-1:00Am they were bombarded with fans from the minute they left their home in Narina Del Rey.” They apparently worked on the voices and Renee gave away Hershey kisses, winks and took hundreds of photos all night long with her husband telling folks she and Obama were on a date. Joe really sounded like Obama and was giving away fake money and hugs to his fans all over the 3rd Street promenade and Main Street in Santa Monica. We all stopped in to see friends at Monsoons last night and we were asked to crash a Jewish wedding upstairs in the private dining room . All the guests believed they were hired to stir up the friends and family of the bride and groom. They told guests it was done in the spirit of Halloween and everyone clapped and took pictures.

Our gang moved on to Main street and Joe and Renee won the BEST contest at the world Café! They took photos and danced and people said all night “believe me you should have this girl on TV as Sarah! It is amazing” Move over Tina Fey Renee Piane is in the neighborhood! We have hundreds of pictures and are shocked at all people applauding them everywhere they went from all over the world! We even ran into one of the finalists from American Idle who was happy to pose with us.”
